Aside from the switch to top mount that I did last year (which I think is in another post somewhere), I am not changing my setup this year.

The Canon has a &quot;S&quot;hutter priority mode where you choose the shutter speed and it chooses the other settings, that&#039;s what I used to get 1/500s.

Any update on your setup this year?  I am contemplating the Sony  HDR-CX550 - apparently it has excellent Super OIS, wide angle built in, and 64Gb flash built in, with (finally!) SD card support.

I still favour holding the cam as opposed to mounting it.

How do you set shutter speed while keeping everything else on auto??
