I love the length of the 300mm compared to the standard 200mm. Just read reviews about focusing speed before you buy one. I almost got the 70-400mm, but it's TOO big, and focuses at turtle speed instead of rabbit speed (critical for sports). Make sure you get VR (or, IS on Canon). Thanks Paul!
